Montessori Children’s World and Montessori Day School are located on beautiful Doty Island in Neenah, WI. This serene Fox Valley location, just steps from Lake Winnebago and Menasha’s Smith Park, provides an environment rich in natural beauty. MCW has been providing the highest quality Montessori experience for children aged
2 ½ through 6 since 1978. The primary class meets Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 AM In addition, a full-day program and a Friday kindergarten tutorial are also available. The school meets the standards of American Montessori Society, is licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a private school in the Neenah Joint School District, and all of our teachers are certified in Montessori education.
Our Montessori environment fosters respect, discipline, moral strength, and a passion for learning by utilizing a child’s natural tendency toward active participation. The classroom provides educational material and equipment that encourage independent learning. This allows students to work on different stages of the same curriculum at different times, assuring that children can progress at a pace suited to them.
